Description: The B-25 Mitchell is an American twin-engine medium bomber, manufactured by North American Aviation. It was named in honor of General Billy Mitchell, the pioneer of US military aviation. The B-25 Mitchell was used in every theater in World War II, and it also was used in many other missions after the war ended. By the end of the war, it had completed over 300 missions. It is a descendant of the earlier XB-21 (North American-39) used in the mid-1930s. The North American Aviation Company used the experience gained in developing the XB-21 aircraft in designing the B-25 (called the NA-40 by the company). Improvements to the NA-40, such as the inclusion of R-2600 radial engines, become standard on the B-25.
This model kit has been inspected and scrutinized by restorers of actual B-25s to be authentic down to the most minute details, even in areas usually not seen!
Clear parts to build either a Strafer or a Glass Nose B25. No instructions nor decals for the Glass Nose. It does include the plastic parts for the Strafer.
